Glenda Kozlowski calls attention to Pink October: "We need to take care of ourselves"
This Tuesday's Melhor da Noite (17th) showed details of a social project that democratizes preventive examinations against breast cancer - the main campaign of Pink October. After the report, presenter Glenda Kozlowski took the opportunity to talk directly to the program's audience and drew attention to the importance of having preventive examinations.
"We women need to take care of ourselves, information is always our best friend," said the presenter. Glenda emphasized that, in addition to the traditional exams, the public should also be attentive to the signs of their own bodies, which can enable an early diagnosis and thus a happy ending: "There's also the self-examination that you can do at home while you're in the shower".
The important thing is not to stop taking the test, so that you can always feel that relief you've just seen... And I've felt that relief several times, thank God, when you get the results of your test.
Pink October is a frequent topic on the Melhor da Noite stage. Watch the opening of the campaign on TV:
It has been a journey marked by a lot of learning and an ever stronger desire to spread information and awareness about breast cancer, and to promote access to detection and diagnosis of the disease for the socially vulnerable population.
