Pink October: NGO brings free tests to vulnerable population.

An article published on @cnnbrasil talks about Américas Amigas' pink October action "Inspire Courage and Hope" and provides some important figures from this work.

In partnership with various institutions, Américas Amigas is taking free mammograms to various cities in the state of São Paulo in an initiative that began on September 20 and is scheduled to end on December 6. More than 4,000 exams will be donated
The action is aimed at people over 40 who are socially vulnerable and focuses on the importance of early detection as the main way of reducing the still high mortality rate caused by the disease.

An initiative that saves lives and contributes to the fight against breast cancer in Brazil.
