Who are the people who benefit from Américas Amigas?

Get to know a little more about the profile of the people assisted by the Américas Amigas Exam Donation Program

The main objective of the Public Profile Survey conducted by Américas Amigas was to gain an in-depth understanding of the public served by the NGO through the Geographic, Demographic, Psychographic and Behavioral prisms. From this study, the stakeholders of Américas Amigas will be able to learn more about the profile of the public impacted by the work in the fight against breast cancer.

The study was carried out using a sample of people who had been assisted by Américas Amigas in all regions of Brazil and had received free mammograms through actions in a mobile unit or tests carried out in partner laboratories.

Participants from the following Brazilian states were included: Amazonas, Pará, Mato Grosso, Tocantins, Ceará, Paraíba, Paraná, São Paulo and Sergipe.

  • 45% of these women share their home with 4 or more people
  • 18% of the women assisted have 4 or more children
  • 57% of the women assisted have 3 or more children
