We're among the best for the second year running

Américas Amigas receives the Best NGOs 2023 award, the most important award recognizing the work and social impact of NGOs in Brazil.

For 14 years, Américas Amigas has been working hard to combat one of the diseases that most affects women around the world, Breast Cancer. During this time, the NGO has provided more than 1.5 million tests for people in situations of social vulnerability throughout the country. It has also offered training to hundreds of health professionals and carried out various information and awareness campaigns. All these actions have led Américas Amigas to receive the Best NGOs 2023 Award, a recognition that fills us all with pride.

Awarded and endorsed by Instituto Doar, Instituto O Mundo que Queremos and Ambev VOA, with the support of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), Instituto Humanize and Fundação Toyota do Brasil, the prize is one of the most important in recognizing the work and results achieved by NGOs in Brazil. The list of winners includes 100 organizations that have been recognized for their good practices in areas such as governance, transparency, communication and funding.

This is the second time in a row that Américas Amigas has been chosen, which motivates each member, collaborator, supporter, donor, volunteer and partner even more.
"Our mission is to reduce mortality from Breast Cancer in Brazil and to this end we act as a great hub of solidarity and efficiency. We unite people and companies in this goal, channeling everyone's efforts into practical actions in support of our mission. That's why receiving the Best NGOs Award encourages us so much and signals that we're on the right track." celebrates Andrea Pereira, president of Américas Amigas.
