On 01/10 Intimissimi in partnership with Biossance held an opening event of the October Rosa 2020 campaign. The brands once again joined Américas Amigas in the fight against breast cancer.
The event was a live with the participation of Costanza Pascolato, Vânia Castanheira, Deborah Aquino and Sabrina Parlatore. In the first part of the event they held a chat where they shared their experiences of coping with the disease and the particularities of each case.
At the end, after the words of thanks from Andrea da Veiga Pereira, president of Américas Amigas, Sabrina Parlatore performed a pocket show for the spectators.
The main objective of the event was to provide information and raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of carrying out detection and diagnosis tests as a way of combating the disease.
Pink October is coming, be a company that saves lives
This international movement goes beyond a simple campaign; it is a global mobilization that seeks to raise awareness and educate the population about the importance of prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer, a disease that, when detected in time, has great chances of treatment and cure.
The "Women Friends in Pink October" action took place from October 1st to 31st in municipalities in Greater São Paulo and provided mammography and diagnostic ultrasound exams for 1,865 socially vulnerable women.
