Americas Amigas wins Transparent Ong Seal

Américas Amigas obtained one more important achievement, the DOAR Seal and was approved in the Certification process with concept A+. The seal is awarded by the Doar Institute, whose mission is to expand the culture of donation in Brazil and the world.

This is one more piece of evidence that attests to our compliance with the Third Sector's Standard of Management and Transparency.

The criteria for obtaining the seal, include information about the organisation that addresses the following aspects:

Cause and action strategy: criterion that analyses the clarity of the information on the cause adopted by the organisation, from the purposes to the strategies outlined.

Representation and Accountability: criterion that analyses the processes that ensure the legitimacy and fulfilment of the responsibilities of the organisation's representatives, inside and outside the organisation.

Institutional organisation and management: criterion that contemplates issues related to the institutional conditions required for the adequate execution of the actions performed by the organisation, including the planning and continuous monitoring of its activities.

Financing strategy: this area addresses the foundations and practices adopted by the organisation with a view to ensuring the financial resources necessary to meet its objectives, thus guaranteeing its sustainability.

Transparency, accountability and communication: one of the pillars of the seal, which permeates all the other fields. This area deals with the need to disclose the organisation's main information and the existence of communication channels.
