On 13/10 our godmother, Ana Hickmann, honoured us with her support in another campaign of pink October and held a live with Andrea da Veiga Pereira, president of Américas Amigas.

Ana began the event by telling us about her partnership with us, how she got to know the project and why she decided to join us in the fight against breast cancer. We are very grateful to have her as godmother and thank her for all the work she does promoting our project and seeking partnerships that can contribute to the growth of the action programmes we carry out.

Together they told how the NGO came about, the main goals and what we have achieved over these eleven years of operation from north to south of Brazil. Andrea detailed the three pillars of action and the numbers achieved in each of them. They also talked about the impacts of the Pandemic in breast cancer cases and how this has impacted the work of Américas Amigas this year.

They closed the conversation explaining the importance of donations, support and partnerships for the continuity and growth of the project.
