Women Friends Action - Women's Month 2023

The Women Friends Month 2023 action lasted 10 days, starting on March 8, International Women's Day, and ending on March 19.

In the days leading up to the action, in addition to wrapping the Mobile Unit, equipment was installed and the mammography machine was tested

The first week of the action took place at the headquarters of CEBASP - Base Educational Community, located in Jaguaré, a neighborhood on the west side of São Paulo. In addition to Américas Amigas, which carried out breast cancer detection and diagnosis tests, we had a partnership with SAS Brasil, which through its Mobile Unit provided gynecology care and gynecological exams. In addition to the women's health services, SAS Brasil also provided medical clinic, endocrinology, psychology, dermatology and nutrition services, and made it possible for children to return home from the ophthalmopediatrics project in 2019.

The second week of the action, which was supported by Tenda Atacado, took place in Carapicuíba, a municipality in the São Paulo metropolitan region. In this second stage of the action, the trailer offered mammography exams and supplements, targeted breast ultrasounds, clinical exams, as well as consultations and complementary exams for diagnostic clarification, carried out in laboratories.
