Complexo do Alemão is located in the northern zone of Rio de Janeiro, is made up of fifteen communities and has a population of around 200,000 inhabitants.
The Women Friends action in Complexo do Alemão, promoted by Américas Amigas and @sasbrasil4x4, with the support of the Patrocínio Cancer Hospital and the Rio de Janeiro Health Department, began on August 25, 2023 and ends on August 28, 2023.

This partnership brought care to the population of the Complexo do Alemão communities, helping to reduce the SISREG queue.
There were two carts bringing breast and cervical cancer detection, as well as other women's health procedures.
