From March 2 to 14, Américas Amigas, an entity that combats the mortality from breast cancer in Brazil, and the Barretos Cancer Hospital will hold the seventh edition of the mammography improvement course and the first edition and management training in breast cancer prevention with emphasis on quality. offered to all the institutions benefitting from the Américas Amigas mammography donation program, the course is aimed at offering professionals in the area conditions to increase the quality of breast cancer diagnosis and promote early detection of the disease. The need to improve the quality of mammography exams was the main reason for the conception of the course. The project is the result of a partnership between Américas Amigas, Hospital de Câncer de Barretos, Instituto Avon, GE Healtcare and the renowned Dutch training institute for mammography screening National Expert and Training Centre for Breast Cancer (LRBC).
